Thaddeus McCotter. McCotter represents Michigan's 11th district that includes Livonia and Milford.  The clip below is from a speech he gave on the floor of the house.

McCotter is reading part of a letter written to him by a constituent who just lost his job. The 1:57 mark of the clip is the most poignant, "do they know we've made sacrifices but you haven't".



The truth is they (the congress, government) know perfectly well that they haven't made sacrifices. They never will.  They never intend to.  The reason is simple. The government produces nothing but steals mercilessly. The founders were right.  Government is an insatiable monster, that left unchecked, will loot and pillage until is has devoured and destroyed everything; culminating with the will of the governed. Unfortunately, we have nobody to blame but ourselves. We, the American Body Politic, vote these curs into power time and time again.

Congratulations Michigan 11, you have elected one of the few honorable men left in Washington.
